What the heck. Things with the tutor was stupid. Why would you let such a teacher be near your child? Are manner teacher that hard to find that you need to desperately hold onto one even if she hurt your child?

I know that Nema herself wished to keep the tutor, but I still think it is stupid for the parents to let such things go on.

I find this whole chapter pointless and stupid.

OMG, that is freaking child abuse. Don't get me wrong, I grew up with Asian parents so getting hit with a stick is normal as a way of education but never did my parents hit me so hard to the point it left a bruise. Hitting a child to the point it left a bruise could never be justified even if it was a means of education.

Nema is only three years old. It is not even the age where you should start an education. Even other isekai manga started their etiquette lesson when they were five or older.

I am just annoyed that her parents could just let her be and push her to win the tutor. SHE IS FREAKING THREE YEARS OLD. I know her soul was 27 but this manga has not once shown us any type of maturity from Nema. I am here for the fluff but this is not fluff. This is just a stupid method of mangaka trying to let Nema shone but failed miserably.

The moment I saw the violence, I was expecting the MC to go: "Oh, no, no. I literally have a dragon and a magical tiger on my back-and-call. I can quite literally summon an entire forest to break you apart. Violence is really not the card you want to play against a nuke, even if that nuke is 3 years old."
But isekai be isekai, the writing rarely ever makes sense, so whatever.

@Thirtyfour I assume you are talking about the parents? I know they are not perfect, and I am not saying that they are bad parents. It is just weird that they would let their child get punished to the point of being bruised.

If you are talking about the tutor, it might be argued that she did it unintentionally. But it doesn’t mean that it is okay for her to continue doing so. For the very least, someone should tell her that she is using too much force. That someone could be Nema herself or perhaps the parents. It is not kindness to let someone continue doing something bad without the person in question realizing.

I might have felt too strongly about this chapter. I always do when it is about young children or teaching.

A child afraid of seeing a doctor because they don't want to explain scars is textbook child abuse. I'm no bleeding heart, but they're laughing it off. It's disturbing.

What exactly was the point of all this? They told a toddler to endure physical abuse to teach an old spinster a lesson in humility. Why would you do that to your own daughter? Even if modern understanding of child development didn't occur until after the enlightenment, this level of corporal punishment is insane. If this was an actual 3 yo they would be traumatized. What if Nema broke down and cried? Would she use a branding iron to really get the message across? How many more children is that witch going to brutalize? How do you go back to fluffy animals when you know all these people are enabling child abuse? Everyone involved is sick, it's like seeing a Hollywood movie.
