Evil wizard with a tendency of doing human experiments and the ability of casting resurrection magic sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Victims don't even get liberated when they die...
 
@lolera222 My man I think you would love Warlock of the Magus World. The mc is less lewd and more ambitious.

Also, this commentary section has so many snowflakes omg. I bet they would rather read one of those beta japanese mc walking around with his loli harem showing off his OPness and refusing females' advances. Please go back to your Death March kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyusoukyoku or similar.
 
@macarroiz does it only have a Novel? Also i'd reccomend you The Return of the 8th Class Mage (The MC is Ian Page) it only has a Novel too, there's a simmilarly named manwha here and has a kinda simmilar plot, also a reccomended. (The MC in both is an asshole and i love it hahaha)
 
@lolera222 Yes, there's only a novel. However the story has 1200 chapters and the mc isn't popular like Bai Xiaochun from IWE who is funny and family friendly. The mc, Leylin Farlier, is a ruthless scheming "villain" who will do anything to achieve his goals, be it playing the righteous hero, the evil villan or simple a innocent bystander. He is rly one-of-a-kind of a mc.
 
@macarroiz so he's a human... That's interesting, when i get up to date on my other ongoing novels i'll start that one hahaha. Also, is the name "Woo" in korean spelled "Wu" in regular ol' english? Like Seong-Jin Woo would be Son-Jin Wu, or Wo.
 
@lolera222 Be warned though, from about midway it starts really getting bogged down in pointless side stories that can go on for a long time and have side characters that are 100% pointless. A few have some great payoffs though in the storylines like erm without spoiling by saying it like arcs... the coin of fate and his ascension to rank 6 (i think it was r6) was really great to read. He does do a few lewd things and he is full on lawful evil alignment, saving those if it benefits him, destroying the souls of innocent through pain and torture if it benefits him too.
Great MC though and really refreshing as being lawful evil, also has like Slimes version of a great sage in his head in the way of an advanced ai chip that becomes more advanced as he gains in ranks.
One of the best things I like about it besides most of the scheming is the fight scenes are told really well imo and gives a good scale on the power of each rank and how it completely decimates the previous ranks.
Its definitely my favourite cultivator story though and the translations are really great and fully translated on wuxia.
 
@Acidroach what's this "cultivation" thing i'm reading now and again? i thought it was a farmers thing because most of them also have villages with farmers and i thought the MC will do some Mr. Miyagi cultivation training hahaha.
Also thanks for letting me know about the alingment, LE and CN are the best for my personality type.
 
@ToraTaiga well, we DO know that he comes from a highly-advanced magical state. might as well start comparing legionnaires to modern infantry. like Civ. or GATE.

Doesn't MC mean disposable rather than useable test subjects? Seems like human experimentation was a common thing back in his empire. Wonder just how high ranked he was back there. Also, more likely to pull your teeth out than the pin much less three pins from grenades as a certain amount of force is needed to remove the pins. After all, want to make sure really want to pull pin out when want to rather than it slipping off just from being jostled around and setting grenade off. Seems Margaret is willing to admit when she is wrong and able to bend enough to allow him to experiment on the corpses to get information. Although wonder if she would've objected more if corpses included humans.
