Decent ending especially with the notes to fill it out, but I can't help the feeling that "Akane goes back on the weekends" feels like a bit of a cop-out of an answer, when the question of staying or leaving hung over the entire manga.

i guess that ending could have been worse, but the notes (appreciated) made it clear that they killed it before getting very deep into the actual story itself, and the jade confession was probably rewritten once they knew it was going to get canned. shame, so much worldbuilding and enjoyable, relaxing characters.
