Itai Onee-san wa Suki Desu ka? - Vol. 1 Ch. 17 - Painful OL Life

>complaints are fertile ground for female friendship
My fucking sides, fucking sentence feels like its out of the sun tzu art of war.

I'm a little teapot, short and stout,
Here is my handle, here is my spout.
I ain't your teamaker, hear me shout,
"FUCK YOU ASSHOLES, GET THE FUCK OUT."

just be like cid from ff vii and tell then to shut the fuck up and drink their goddamn tea, then they'll be scared and will want to make it themselves

... Why do I feel like the only person who actually enjoys the tea is the first guy who asked Itai to make it for him?
I mean, he enjoys the tea she makes, likes it the way it's still hot when served and hates the cheapo carton tea...

can't tell if this manga attracts incels or if it's just the same couple of incels every chapter

@justforthelulz That's brilliant!

@Mahoushani From what I've read, this is pretty accurate for Japan. You'll notice that the women are referred to as Office Ladies, not a job title like programmer/accountant/etc. Many of the men assume the OLs are there just to help them out, not to do any other job of their own. Japan is still, sadly, a very misogynistic country.

"Hyper hate" I like this new phrase.

Well, at least she made some actual friends this chapter.

This one wasn't particularly painful, was it?

@manabi that's because Office Ladies ARE there just to "make tea"(perform simple, menial tasks and look good) It's a job that requires no qualificiations whatsoever.

Yeah but it also means that if youre a qualified woman who is not hired to be OL you will still be expected to make tea and coffee for the rest of the guys, just because youre a woman and they expect you to.
