It's a wholesome gramps. If this was a fluffy SoL Isekai I'd be fine...ish. Kinda sad that characters only stay for a chapter or 2, if he moves on.
But if there's gonna be some "plot"... I somehow don't see it working.

For some reason I've been reading the gramps lines in an Irish accent. Especially after he said 'lassie'.
