OK SO I HAVE A CRAZY THEORY.

So at this point almost everyone knows the manga got axed with only the final chapter being published in the new magazine. Seems like the general consensus about the ending is that it will suck one way or another.

BUT.

What if that’s meant to throw everyone off because there will be a SEQUEL manga???

Instead of being called “Commentary! Mr. Izumi’s Love Pattern” it will instead be called:
“___(Fill in the blank)___! Mr. Izumi’s Love Pattern”

With the blank word being not commentary but something more proactive meant to signify Izumi’s growth and realization that he’s no longer happy with being an commentator, mirroring his desire to step into the limelight and become the “protagonist” we all want him to be?

Hmmm....

@Nintendude1997 It still counts as being axed by a technicality, even if Young Animal Arashii as a whole folded, Hakusensha still saved a few series to either continue going as normal in the mainline Young Animal or at least end its run on it; this series got no such treatment, it died with Young Animal Arashii.
