Jimi na Kensei wa Sore Demo Saikyou Desu - Vol. 3 Ch. 27

"Escaping death" isn't necessarily a plus, lol. There are things worse than death.

And be very careful, king. The mc is insanely strong, but also incredibly passive. Pissing him off doesn't sound like a smart thing to do, considering he can already beat the 'heroes' when taking it easy on them. Imagine him being willing to kill, considering he has nigh limitless stamina, so could fight non-stop for a very long time.

Bullshit this King is just using you. Call his bluff and suggest you call Sansui in to get his opinion on the matter.

@Riger
Yes indeed. I remember Batman trapping a villain in an unending time loop for instance. And that was in the cartoon. He’s even more...creative in the comics when he doesn’t try to kill.
Shoot, the no-kill options in Dishonored are even more screwed up than straight up killing the villains

is this gonna make MC not be passive, or is he still going to be passive while people try to use his kid

The higher up plotting, in favor of MC?
Actually called out the bs that totally-not-evil fatso spouts out?

what is this bizarro isekai

This is actually a somewhat reasonable plot direction and now we wait again for how it will progress.

That is unless someone who's read the LN would gives a hint or something.

Always nice to see a group of leaders/lords in this case acting in a reasonable and sane manner, and not simply going along with a plan because the plot demands it. Should be a low bar, but with some series today... in any case, I'm curious to know whether at any point in the story the main character will show any drive or motivation towards a non-status-quo goal, since it seems like neither paternal nor romantic love can inspire him to a new aspiration and things as they are seem to be fine for those around him. Rather difficult to get invested when even 27 chapters in the main character is uninterested in the world outside his personal bubble, and the other characters we're seeing are barely fleshed out at all.

Ungaikyou and Vajra are definitely the more trouble some divine treasures if you are invading with a conventional army. Dainsleif could be an excellent divine treasure to use for assassination and certain aspects of law enforcement. Elixir is a perfect divine treasure to give to someone to keep them save from assassination, but sounds useless against some one who wants to creatively keep you alive.

The best answer would be to have Rain renounce any potential claim she might have to the thrown of Domino, but there would be people on both sides of the conflict that would not accept this. So, second best out come would be to send the MC to Domino to steal at least Dainsleif.

I mean, wouldn't it be smart to ask the 500 year old ultimate swordsman for his say in this? Like for real, how can you even take matters of state seriously when you know there are basically immortals running around for hundreds or thousands of years?

Sansui just need to keep killing him, over and over and over, and see how long he last. Sansui did nothing but swung a wooden sword for 500 years, ya know, and it's not like he'd be dying of old age ever. Also, just ignore Eckesachs, eh? That other legendary item of equal standing that became nothing but trash when put in front of Sansui.

Immortality =/= invincible, UQ holder have thought me bunch a way of dealing with them even without actually winning the fight with'em.

Just do like log hero, impale their ass so much that they'd rather die than be revived again.

Considering that Sansui is only working for the kingdom because he wants a good home for Rain, sending Rain to this other country seems....ill advised if they want to keep Sansui. And it's not like they don't know that. He was pretty upfront at the beginning that was why he was there.

Huh. I appreciate the higher-ups of this country calming thinking this whole matter through. Especially so since the noble is obviously trying to incite them to benefit him by starting a war.

This is...a tricky situation. Though ultimately, the best move is to just tell Sansui and have him handle it.
