Jimi na Kensei wa Sore Demo Saikyou Desu - Vol. 4 Ch. 34

At last some MC being killers without being an edge Lord. Well he is a 500 years old sage, trained by another immortal monster.

@IMACOP it doesn't need to cut bone to makes blade become dull, even cutting flesh can makes blade duller...
example is kitchen knife, just to cut vegetables and meat, the knife become dull and need sharpening....
moreover bandits's swords that never got maintain properly, by the time MC using it, the swords basically just a dull blade used to crush or stab enemies rather than slice them... yet MC using that dull blade to cut the head cleanly, and not only one head, he using same sword for few clean head cutting until the swords can cut no longer...

you know what, that's a lot of heads. enough to make the Eyelander happy. heads heads heads.

@IMACOP At his speed it may be less about edge damage from hitting body itself, and more about air resistance and difference between gas (air) and liquid and solid (neck).

I feel like a lot of people calling the Mc a beta cuck or asking why he takes orders from her literally came in half way through the story or just do not use their brain at all. He is quite literally OLD AS FUCK. He legitimately does not care about most things. Him getting ordered around is basically akin to being an old man and going along with the whims of a child to make them pleased. He was given a task by his teacher to MAKE SURE RAIN GROWS UP WELL and this is the simplest way of making sure she gets a great education and very good social standing. Please if you are going to comment on a story, at least pay somewhat attention to it. He legit will out live all of these people so why the fuck does he care if one of them tells him do x or y if it can help him accomplish his mission?

I kind of feel like Dewey has just been waiting on a chance to have him do something like this. I also feel like she wants to be more evil than she has been, but is a bit too pragmatic for it. People offering up their lives for her amusement like this is probably one of the best things to happen to her.

@Cyrenius I think plenty of people forget Sansui is over 500 years old and treat or think of him as a teenager rather than the responsible adult he is. Discipline was and is a part of his training which has become huge part of life and is probably why he is "boring" because he expends only the needed amount of energy while the young isekai's go mega flashy and over do it or have next to no training or experience.

Jesus Christ, Dewey. If there was some crazy plot twist where she became a villain (even momentarily), I wouldn’t question it for a second.

Ppl need to realized Dewey is not controlling Sansui. Sansui is allowing her to order him around. He could literally turn around killed almost everyone in an instance. And he's probably only taking care of Rain because of his master's orders, not because he actually has compassion.

Also, this chapter reminds me of a scene in X-men: First Class.

Charles: Eric, they're just following orders.
Eric: I have been at the mercy of men just following orders.

This manga has stopped being about Sansui even though he’s finally doing something of interest for once and it’s all the worse for it. Seriously, with maybe the exception of beast hero kid, I would rate all the other “isekai heroes” as net negatives for the story.

damn.. Sansui`s fatherly instinct kicks in when he was ordered to kill all those hooligan. He definitely angry in this chapter.
