People do react like this in real life, just look at a video of a father in court with wife's/son's/daughter's killer/molester. At they will show little to no emotion as possible, then when the time is right.......I'm sure you get the picture. This doesn't make them psychopaths, many would in fact defend there behavior.

Now if you want to say he's unjustified in feeling this ANGRY, I might be inclined to agree with you. A psychopath would have been indifferent to those soldiers, they also wouldn't have healed them.

To be extra fair, those guys had really 'killable' faces. When I saw the two-toothed bandit I thought "Yep. This guy is gonna die."

I am sure there are great guys who may look like that in real life but as a bandit in a manga with that face? Death sentence.

@KobeisGOAT Flight's easy: encapsulate the target in a barrier then manipulate the barrier's x, y, and z axes. The decapitation's even easier: super thin barrier around his hand; hell, Bleach used that exact explanation more than a decade ago. It also had the whole "barriers can heal" schtick with some loquacious explanation, to boot.

Well I mean I could already see how loose the author was being with how the MC's reincarnation and subsequent adoption went but the author is really just having this run off the rails. Unfortunately that means this probably won't last long, even though I liked the barrier/field powers.

My thoughts exactly. It started with an interesting premise but right of the bat the author decided it's another one of those daydream fuel manga.
Absurdly strong MC with godlike infinite power so you can imagine being him all day in a "how I would have played out this scenario with op powers" kinda way. I like it though :)

Um, well, that took a twist. I was expecting him to let them go once he'd interogated the bandits (leading to why didn't I do something first). But no, pragmatic by leaving no loose ends for things to get untidy.

Now I don't mind MC's that kill and shit. It can be really badass to see. But the way it was handled here was kinda shit. I felt to me that the author wanted the main character to be cool and edgy. And it fell flat on its face.

Didn't expect it to go the edgelord route tbh.
