wow, that proposal was pretty sudden (though I suppose they already have broached the possibly pregnant bit).
Also, not surprising for a teenager character, but that pro-Youko argument was not exactly well thought out. In 2 years, he never tried to think about how he would tackle a situation where she was discovered? I mean, she outed herself saving someone from falling to their death, not exactly the same situation the dad found himself in (uncontrolled bite on student/friend). Should've been a lot easier to control the flow of (some of) the student reactions.
Being easy to read doesn't mean not being prepared. Course, daddy going big and dark within seconds wouldn't have helped.
