My third read through and I'm just now realizing that even 2003 Araki understood systemic racism in America and the lasting effects of it as a Japanese man. What does that say about those in the US today that still value the Confederacy?
I feel like Wes/Domenico's mother should have confessed to Wes/Domenico before she died and none of this would have happened.
@Nyves i mean Araki understood that even way before that. Remember in part 2 where Joseph fought racist cops and a racist guy at a diner in New York? But i totally agree with you.
