@Wolvenworks Never, that's the joke of the series is he pretends to be the Shadow Emissary while oblivious to whats happening in the shadows. Plus what he pretends happens to be truth so he never believes the truth as he believes that it is his lie.
Sister's a fucking dumbass. "We know literally fucking nothing about Shadow Garden except they're fighting our enemies." "SHADOW GARDEN IS OUR ENEMY, WE WILL DESTROY AND ARREST THEM AND MAKE THEM GIVE UP EVERYTHING."
How about you find out if you're enemies or not FIRST before you attempt to attack someone who might be your best ally over pride? This country's toast if she's royalty.
@kayriel the fact that they know nothing is usually a good indication of the groups inclination, if they didn't have something to hide they'd know shadow gardens aspirations, the fact that they do hide means that they act outside the law of the kingdom in some respect.
hence they are enemies, until they reveal themselves and can be judged, one way or another.
now not all enemies are equal however, but still it's hard to trust someone that deliberately tries to hide what they are up to, and also houses that much power.
This chapter is a little disappointing as far as this series go. It is not that it is a bad chapter, it is just not quite as hilarious as I have come to expect.
@Kayriel well if they are the official law enforcers in this city/country then they are like police^^ and police also doesnt like it when you as a civilian go around and beat up evil guys^^
That's very backwards thinking. If they have nothing to hide they wouldn't be hiding anything? This kingdom is hiding things from its subjects, no doubt. Every governmental body does - every governmental body MUST, it's a requirement to rule that there are things to be hidden and dealt with away from the public eye.
So clearly the royals and the knights are corrupt because of this thinking.
I get what you're saying, but my point is that there's another perspective to take in this situation that doesn't involve turning TWO secret organizations against you when your MAIN job is the protection of your populace. She knows that Shadow Garden is powerful beyond belief, but refuses to admit or acknowledge it because she can't understand something that much more powerful than she is - which is hubris. Blind hubris. She understands Alpha is 'strong', but doesn't realize Alpha is stronger than her even though it's a fact she had proven to her. But hearing of what Shadow's done she chooses to believe the more convenient 'truth' that her sister is addleminded, even knowing she isn't and there's no proof of this artifact going haywire or her sister being muddled in the head.
This is not the kind of person who should be deciding to make enemies, especially enemies who are among her own people. This is the kind of thing that can get her kingdom destroyed and its citizens annihilated and she's making it out of blind fucking pride and stupidity.
She is a bad Royal. She may not be a corrupt one, but she's a stupid one.
Can't wait till the martial tournament arc, were shadow does more. It's coming soon, I hope, but this manga adaptation is really slow being a monthly release.
