@Javowired Would expecting change after 160 chapters be considered "sudden" to you? Because the MC has had precisely zero (0) character development since chapter 1. Their relationship has had precisely zero (0) development since chapter 1. Kazuya is still a pathetic, thirsty virgin. Mizuhara is still a paid escort. Their relationship is exactly the same as it has been since the beginning. There aren't even slow developments happening here and on the occasion that something does change these two revert back to their original state in the next chapter.

I find it hillarious how much you people exaggerate with this manga. Sure, it has a lot of problems, but I feel like every chapter the comments are just a contest of in how many different ways can you repeat the same shit that sometimes doesn't even apply to the chapter. Progression in this is absurdly slow but saying that there's been 0 development since the start or that nothing is happening (which is true sometimes, but I swear people will keep repeating this even in chapters where things do happen) makes me wonder if you people actually read it or are just jumping on the hate train.

reading the comments in addition to the new ch are a treat.

dont know why people expect anything intense and straight to the point in a rom com. i been reading for over 10+ years over more. you need the build up. And you get that pow in your face in the final arc followed by a wholesome or rushed ending depending on how you see fit.
