I don’t wanna rein on the wholesome moment that just happened but I never understood the “if you can’t forgive yourself, I’ll forgive you” cliche line I hear all the time...
For me, when my therapist said something similar to me, it made me realize that it was ok to forgive myself for that mistake. I had never told anyone what I felt I had done wrong so I never learned that it was something forgivable.
Feels this is why I love this and the original so much. realistic and relatable characters going through everyday live and figuring out their emotions.
I get that this is fiction but this kinda depicts why I have a problem with the "cancel culture". It doesn't take into consideration that people CAN and DO change.
