Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House - Vol. 17 Ch. 176 - On the Other Side of This River

If i read something terrible i will get back reading this manga. So wholesome and warm. Sometimes i'd cry too

how.. insanely hot is their dishwasher. Even the heavy duty soup bowls we had where I worked wouldn't get hot enough to burn you instantly from touching them and that's a thin plate. I guess I shouldn't complain about unrealistic stuff in a manga but yeah, a plate like that in a dishwasher isn't going to burn your hand like that.

Commercial dishwashing machines are extremely hot, use super strong lye and chemicals and clean very quickly. Glassware and plates and silverware come out so hot you shouldn't touch it right away. After becoming a homeowner I always thought it would be nice to have one of those in my house.

Ah, yes... I remember burning myself on the freshly autoclaved mugs on my first day working at Tim Hortons. It's been almost 20 years and I can still feel the heat in my right hand like it was yesterday.

so in other words he admires suu-chan too. just almost a little as a rival ❤️
And I'm glad the chef he works with is kind; it's tough to be young and starting out, especially when you're trying as hard as you can

still sad and in semi-disbelief that Kenta really can't play baseball anymore, the story had set it up like he could have become suu-chan's counterpart if it weren't for his injury :(
