Thanks for picking this up, I've been waiting for ages for someone to do it. As far as the translation goes, your grammar is pretty good. I don't really know Japanese, so I can't say how precise the tl is, but it's not something that can't be understood. The only thing I personally have issue with is the format, i.e. the width of the chapter is smaller than the ones before, but it doesn't affect the reading that much so please do keep on doing this.

@danknny I'm not sure, but someone called torinoskarte and Saki Tori?(早紀 鳥生) went around passing DMCA and emails directly to them and told them to stop it. Example is here https://www.lumendatabase.org/notices/15799462 and he even has this site for it http://torinos12.web.fc2.com/

The typesetting could use a lot of polishing; the left alignment of all text is really off-putting. Some of the sentences are also very awkward in English.

You don't understand much about consumer behavior, do you? Pirating has shown next to zero impact on actual sales numbers. People who purchase legally do so out of conviction and willingness to support the creators, not out of necessity. And I seriously doubt there is even a single japanese reading this, especially given that in order for this translation to even exist, the raw chapters must appear on the internet. So if anything, the japanese would be reading those. This project causes literally no harm to the authors finances.

Consumer behavior doesn't matter. Publisher perspective does. If their magazine sales are looking bad (there's already a downward trend with that afaik), they'll look for things to blame. One of those things would be piracy. If a publisher is not doing well, so does an author's job security. Regardless of piracy directly affecting the author or not, the author would feel troubled and may blame piracy for it. The author would mind.
On a side note, scanlations did affect a certain author directly before. It was when the scanlation was publicized before the magazine did, and fans were already talking about it on Twitter, spoiling it for the other fans (I forgot which series and authors this was).

That's like sitting in a burning house and calling the plumber instead of the fire department because your tap is dripping.
Your entire argument boils down to a bunch of big "Ifs", which at most would result on a slap on the wrist as the scanlator isn't even making money by doing this.
