Konjiki no Word Master - Yuusha Yonin ni Makikomareta Unique Cheat - Vol. 3 Ch. 12 - The Voice of a Monster, Part 1

It's always perfectly wise to trust the boss of a nasty facility you vowed to destroy. Nothing could possibly go wrong. But yeah, Wi hardly seemed like a smart person to begin with, referring to herself in the third person like a small child and everything.

@HYBRID_BEING
Yeah it should clearly have some German name instead, this mangaka is breaking all the naming conventions.

@Kaarme
Don't worry it won't matter, I bet Hiiro will leave everyone alive after interfering and making them into an enemy so he can get even more evil organizations trying to hunt him down.

@Degernase honestly im more curious as to why a manga set in, more or less, medieval times has a building that looks like a modern compound with chain link fucking fences with barbed wire

So..... this fantasy world has a 1600's setting, but with magic. But now we have buildings with modern military-themed architecture, razorwire over a chainlink fence, people with modern labcoats and clipboards, not to mention electricity. And what's happened to the art quality? Sure, all fat people are evil, and all evil people are ugly, I've gotten used to this in shounen manga, but this is just rolling into creative bankruptcy.

And on the fat theme... the big bad is fat, therefore let's have him wear candy-themed accessories. The world-building has jumped the shark.

FFS translator. Don't go putting localised American shit like "y'all" into the manga. It just makes the character sound repugnant.

My first bad experience with science experiments was when I needed to learn about frog anatomy back in school. I didn't touch anything & just write whatever my friends did. That's why I pretty much failed biology even though I like to look at the drawings of creature anatomy. It's a weird aversion though, as I'm fine prepping meat or fish to cook, but killing innocent creatures needlessly just isn't in my book. But chimeras or tortured dying creatures? If I'm given the power to deal final damage to such things, I'd be glad to finish them. Or heal them if it benefited all parties in a good way. & if I'm in Mi's & Hiiro's shoes I'd do it in a heartbeat either way.

This train of thought reminds me of Sano Yuji from Tensei Kenja no Isekai Raifu though lol. Hiiro could use his cool but objective temperament for himself tbh.
