Kouritsu-Chuu Madoushi, Daini no Jinsei de Madou wo Kiwameru - Vol. 7 Ch. 44 - Birth of a Demon

I don't know if it was posted in any of the previous chapters, but Tyros is an anagram for Story. The MC and crew literally just traveled to the story to figure out what is going on.

I called this back in chapter 44, good to know the author realizes how fucking stupid the association is. They are giving him 10k years to work on his spells that will turn in a month real time. He will be so god damn overpowered that he will literally become a Demon King.

yall talking about how they should have killed him. The decision was probably made by some higher ups who don't give a damn about the harm he does to regular people and saw more value in testing their new toy than the lives that could be lost if this all goes south...you know, the way this shit always goes in life. It isn't them being stupid, it's them not valuing the lives of the people they endanger with their bullshit and pursuing new more horrible weapons. Because of that, their whole cost/benefit analysis is all fucked up.

@Chet31 bruh if they somehow fuck it up and make him weak or w.e ima be so dam angry, this dude should be the strongest dude in the world once he comes out cause who else would be strong enough to beat a guy who trained for thousands of years.....

So....just to be clear,he can’t use magic in his mind right?so everything that he comes up with has to be theoretical and unless his knowledge of magic is right he could just be wasting a thousand yrs of magic research...unless magic has no rules and u can literally give whatever commands u want to it in which case...yea...everybody shoulda been making bones magic then if there no rules

Rant warning, cannot be unseen :

Goddammit, that fucking side mouth page 18 is hurting my eyes, it just makes the character look damn stupid when he would be way more intimidating should his nose not connect with his fucking chin. I hate that so much even though I kinda like this manga, ffs.

@Chet31
Well, that is only if mental changes apply also to his body in real time. He mentioned reconstructing his sealed magic lines. His mind may be able to imagine it happening, but if it does not actually happen, then there is no issue. If he spends 10k years developing things, but in actuality, all he is doing is imagining them, with imagined outcomes, he basically just spent a month in a cell. Without making any real progress at all. Sure he may manage to conceptually work out the details (unless he is just imagining the outcomes), but his real body isn't doing shit.

@JavelinJoe
Not unlike learning how to fly in lucid and semi-lucid dreams. You form pathways to control a psionic ability that only manifests within dreams, and makes you feel like you're missing a limb in the waking world when find that you cannot, in fact, levitate or fly.

The birth of a demon, and the means which they will kill said demon all in the same chapter.

How exactly is he going to remake magic when he can't use magic in the prison, or is that a disgusting oversight by his peers?

@onanimasu
tbf there's no reason it should work the way the author seems to be making it work, leave somebody in an all white room like this without stimulation and it wouldn't even take a fraction of 10k years to turn their brain into mush, hell it shouldn't even take 10k minutes to reduce them practically to a wreck - realistically speaking.
