Kouritsu-Chuu Madoushi, Daini no Jinsei de Madou wo Kiwameru - Vol. 8 Ch. 47 - Mother Daughter Showdown

Okay so Illidain is back to get revenge for his 10000 1000 years of imprisonment, but his skill cap is still garbage so it should be easy picking even if he's maxed out all of his stats right? This seems like a non-starter unless he's found a way to circumnavigate the skill cap system in which case this actually becomes important to the plot since MC is dead set on becoming the flame of flames even though he has relatively low cap on Red magic.

It's like some 5'5" (165cm) 90 pound dude going into prison for 20 years. Even if he bulks up and works out for his entire time in prison he won't suddenly become a 6'2" (188cm) 220 pound body builder when getting out of jail. There's a limit to how buff he could get during the time frame and it's limited to his body's potential.

Also his specialty was Spirit magic, but he killed off his strongest familiar back in chapter 30 so even if he maxed out his other attributes, his strongest affinity would have to start over at level 1 since he would need to make a new familiar.

On top of all that, everything he did in his mental prison was theoretical. He had no way to judge the practical application of his theories until he was released from his mental state. The whole thing makes no sense on any level. Sure he could have come up with some pretty amazing ideas with all of his free time, but would he know how to use them or remember how they would apply in a physical world? Highly unlikely.

he was trapped in a time prison basically to rot that he used to practice magic it's not surprising he'd become alot stronger all of a sudden. The previous test subjects probably didn't have a tie to the real world. But this Guy did, cause he was training exclusively to get revenge.

People came here to complain about bad villains and bad plot.

I'd rather talk about best girl master-chan

Manga always degrades in quality once the author gets too self insertion focused and starts making all the females fall hopelessly in love with the MC.

Not that it isn't fun but the story always suffers as a result. And a strong female character also becomes really uninteresting.

dang, maid selverie really pushed all the right button for me
i wonder if she's gonna twirl too

also
>spend 1000 years studying magic, alone, in a white room
>still remember names
sureeeeeee

And this here gentlemen... is one of the reason why you should just execute madman rather than imprisoning him

@dezzot

It can still be classified as harem with only 3 girls. Doesn't need to be every eligible bachelorette from tentpole to shanty town.

Guess I was misled by the somewhat serious starting tone of the series and the somewhat emphasis on cool power growth.

Now the question is, is this "end of the world" because of Grain or that other, Earth-like world? Though "end of the world" is probably more of a metaphor for the changing of the world's order. Though it could be literal, which has been done a fair amount in literature. But Zeff has a trick up his sleeve if the world really does end and he can restart right before the "game over" screen.

Too bad he didn't end up killing the whole association. Would've served the idiots properly to get killed by the one they so stupidly left alive. Fucking idiots.

Now that is one way to axe a story... bring it down on the entire planet and not just the plot.

ofc i just come back 2 this and this is the way last chapter ends... Hell Noo....
