As for Martha, perhaps she’s simply a martial art practitioner of something akin to hapkido or even perhaps an esoteric martial art. That being said, it’ll likely end up being some sort of magic. god this webtoon... it's so thoughtful and touching and DEEP compared to so many fluffy western noble fantasy spins. Not that there's anything wrong with the latter, but... I was starving for this content. Actually addressing the real issues such a society has, intelligent and empathetic characters, etc. I'd be perfectly satisfied if this never ended up having a romance and just a beautiful partnership.
