I’m actually happier with this development than I thought I’d be. It’s nice to see the series get back to its roots (the lonely attack), and I’m really happy to see the mc doing some more training, learning new skills, combining skills, and taking down boss monsters by himself. Now don’t get me wrong the delinquents are TERRIBLE villains. They’re generic, illogical, idiots, and the fact that they’re even still alive to be a threat is ridiculous, but I also don’t care because they’re 1d characters I’m just waiting to see have the stuffing beat out of them. If that’s what it took to get the story back here, then it’s fine. So long as actually fighting the delinquents doesn’t take up more than a couple chapters and they aren’t inconsistently stronger/as strong as the mc for no reason. Plus, I just like a good grind fest. Ngl my favorite things in rpgs is grinding to the max level as early game as possible and stomping all the campaign bosses. Anyway the story hasn’t been terrible, but since he met the girls they’ve been holding him back, limiting, and controlling him. I just want my dude to live whatever free “forever alone” lifestyle he wants to. The girls can pop up here and there, and I’m happy we didn’t get the generic mc vs class revenge story, but the chapters since they met up have pretty much only had comedy going for them and when that got stale, I was just sad. I liked the beginning where he was just chilling in his cave, becoming more op, and building his own “castle”. He doesn’t have to go back to doing that, and I’d actually like to see him travel/explore, but from what I’ve seen of the girls, they’re just too impairing. Like the whole thing with Class Prez not letting him leave town was dumb.

Finally a goblin king with a realistic level for a creature that has a body that is naturally weaker than humans! Am I dreaming?
Seriously though, this is the first time I see an Isekai add a Goblin King that makes sense. Goblins are only dangerous because of numbers. I makes no snese for Goblin Kings no matter which species it is to be as high leveled as they are usually shown. Orcs and Bugbears Exist to fulfill the roled of higher leveled goblinoids.

Thanks for the update. Its really nice the majority agrees that going back to the strong points/roots of the series is what makes this series a good read. Him being a loner was fine. The girls weren't terrible but the plot was getting stale (especially since THEY were the ones asking for HIS help), at this point, the only romance I support at this point is the bromance between him and nerds and the athlete boys. The delinquents can just die as the 1d sc*ms that they are

@MangaKeks I think it was the "Jack of all trades". Can do anything but unable to focus on one thing. So the amount of exp required to raise his level is above average.

The only one that doesn't fully make sense is fast riding. The others are all focused on finding a weak point(detective), determining how to target it (fast thinking), and quickly (fast running) launching an unseen (stealth) attack with concentrated (concentrate) magic (magic power manipulation). The following image does a decent job of showing how the move works, with the user being unseen with a ribbon-like trail of magic having passed around the front of the goblin to strike at it's exposed back before the target (who was previously fast enough to apply constant pressure) had a chance to respond. Riding speed is the only thing not really making sense. it COULD be that he's coating himself in magic and riding that with fast riding to help move faster, but it's not explained or suggested in the artwork, so idk.
