Madougushi Dahliya wa Utsumukanai ~Kyou Kara Jiyuu na Shokunin Life~ - Vol. 1 Ch. 5

@feha the most logical reason that I can come up is that the budgets are separate, the patent budget is from the firm and the brecelet budget is his own, despite the firm is his (i doubt about this point, maybe his whole family own it, not only him) he can't just go and pay with his society's money for something for his own expenses, right?

They're stepping all over her like a doormat.

Her house, the wedding band, the attempt on her patents, and her dignity.

I'm so happy that guy stepped in and poured cold water on these guys.

But for real, I feel bad for the girl even though she has a great support net of friends and allies. Like I'm more amazed there wasn't a mob lynching on this dude for being a sleaze with how many friends and allies she has at the guild.

@feha
Probably because he doesn't actually have any money - if their budgets were separate during marriage it'd make sense that she actually holds all the money and he's just got a business that "survives." Once he doesn't have access to her or her products he doesn't really have anything to sell. Over the long term having the stove patent and making royalties off it would cover future expenses and keep the business open/running despite the set back from buying the rights, and the first few months of a product's release is where you see the most sales. He probably made just enough to keep his bullshit going, but not enough to actually support himself and his new wife.

>they got rid of her glasses
My disappointment knows no bounds, and frankly I am disgusted.

@feha
You have an incredibly lenient interpretation of what he did. He didn't try to buy the patent - he tried steal it and sweep the matter under the rug as a favor to him (because, as with the house, he believes he is owed favors), and by using his family's business to intimidate her.

@AlmondMagnum
After being found out he did try to buy it, but she told him to go fuck himself since he officially deserved to be sued and she was already being nice enough by offering him a way out.

@HiddenCamelia Right??? (☞◑ω◑)☞
I really look forward to what Dahliya will do next and how she'll get there! I'm also interested on what Wolf's backstory is, and how exactly he'll impact Dahliya's life.

@AlmondMagnum rather than being lenient, I simply have trouble imagining him trying to steal something that is obvious ppl will find out (particularly as the guild personnel is good friends of hers) and can only blow up in his face. That she didn't ruin him is the best-case he could hope for (letting him buy it might or might not end up better, unsure), which speaks for it being him merely making a mistake (in hindsight, as he didnt marry) that he forgot in all the stress over changing fiancee and the paperwork involved with that.

Okay so I love this version the best so far, love the more romantic fluffy angle. Both are good but this was to my taste lol!! Love that Wolf just deflected the idiotic couple like he did.

OMG the audacity of the cheater and the homewrecker. Plus the company too URGH but our lovely girl upgraded big time, so happy!

Who knows?
As Dahl and Wolf awake up from a night of drinking in the same bed with matching rings. What happen?
