here is no briddle... just one line to the kite, i often fly traditional kite, so we always adjust the bridle, really, if its few centimeter wrong, it will give a really hard control over it...

we often "fight" with kite, take down another kite, the lost one will belong to whoever catch it fall from sky :3

You're absolutely right. Meine IS her real mother. Elsa was an illegitimate child that was taken away from Meine to be raised as a noble. Meine went on to become her attendant in order to watch over her.

@fdmz - yes, this is the beginning of a new arc. The only side character you're supposed to recognize is the girl, Elsa, who was one of the competing racers in the previous arc.

@penmore - I am looking forward to a later arc where he proves himself King of Busybodies.

Oh Meine is younger than I thought, always imagine her as a middle age hag in the novel because of how prudish and annoying she behaves.
