Mahousekai no Uketsukejou ni Naritai desu! - Vol. 2 Ch. 6.2

@zdarkbrz_816 indeed. Except that story was actually about a sweet romance (and damn was it good).
This manga however, is about author clearly shipping two characters that simply doesn't like eachother that way. Which I find strange; why force flags on them but not actually write them as anything but friends with a rivalry?

I think we're not liking the ML (myself included) because he doesn't really show his affection or favor for MC. He's an asshole-y tsun without the dere.

Father approves their marriage lol

@amaranthia - Idk... no matter how much ya twist it. The first thing comes into mind is really that. Unless ya're a 5 year old innocent kid lol

Aww... only those that he trusts are allowed into the barrier, and even though he didn't know she would teleport in, he had already pre-set the barrier to accept her.

Great to see Nunnaly and Alves together again :D

And she's trusted enough by him to be basically given the keys to his house lol

But the ML though, he'll keep behaving like a jerk seducing women left and right til the last chapter of the novel. MC could've done much better

Zozo was to blame. First of all, stop being a total b**** by bringing up that she's second-best. It derogatory on multiple fronts.

Not having any alarm bells towards the dad, but he seems nice and all.

I really want our heroine to get a magic upgrade because she's actually talented and lowkey not reaching her fullest potential in haare. (Although to be fair their "receptionist" work is more like them taking on commissions from people than being a concierge )
I'm looking forward to things "getting heated" lmao.
Also, Dad believes in the main ship confirmed.
And: our girl is already among "trusted by family" category already, if the ML's shield spell is to be believed. This is gonna be fun

We're finally starting to get somewhere. Thank the close family member for helping to change the mood towards leaking details.

Alves figures that Nunnaly doesn't think much of him (he counts himself among the "worthless things" that messed up the teleport) and probably understands how he looks to her personality-wise . He has also blabbed a ton to his father about their rivalry, her appearance (likely how the father recognises her), her abrasive personality, but implicitly also her skill and talent and such (through her status as a rival, as told through her being a sore loser second only to Alves himself*). The father is now amused that this girl definitely counts as "trusted" in the mind of Alves, totally has Alves flustered in denial when there's any suggestion of them being close, and gets a real show of her skill and knowledge.

Gah, gotta pick out the details of the male love interest from small bits of conversation. That's shoujo manga for you.

ah fuck.... is she locked into the abusive dude route?
I hope he's changed and stop the abusive shit.

I dunno about you guys but I thought the romance was obvious from the start. I mean, two rivals who started with teasing one another but slowly developed feelings without realizing it? It's basically how a lot of romance stories go (ie; Shokugeki No Soma). Hell, I'd even go as far as to say that romance that grew from two people who are just nice to one another to be the unrealistic one.

Everyone thinks it's obvious except these two. Heh, the two smartest of the class and yet dense as rocks.
