Manuke na FPS Player ga Isekai e Ochita Baai - Vol. 3 Ch. 14.1

"I dont want my depression to affect her"

"HaLf ThE PaRtY DiEd"

Perfect 10/10 I cut myself on that edge

why do these chapters take so long?

not trying to offend, just wondering they dont seem like alot like less than 20 pages or so

edit: not talking about translators, specifically talking about author / editor etc

I swear the mangaka only knows how to use ONE type of screentone

Look at the artifacts on page 6, the belt of the guy right behind Ashley

How romantic of him to bring the dead companions as the first part of the small talk already

What does the mangaka use to make the backgrounds? They all look weird. I don't mean they look bad, they look amazing, but they look like they were drawn (if they were drawn at all) with a different tool than the one used for the characters.

@AbuHajaar
OMG, because of your comment, I rechecked the chapter...
The author actually only does line work and screentones.
Every shading is done by screentone...

Either this mangaka has and army of assistants or it's done digitally.
Seeing the artifacting and the clones everywhere, pretty sure this was drawn on a computer, with a lot of copy/paste...

Here some clones in this chapter alone:

@Acolytus
Pretty much take a photo, desaturate, color dodge and gaussian blur...
Here's an example tutorial.

And I'm pretty sure the background characters where either from stock drawing or the author prepared a selection of them to copy/paste everywhere...

>tfw when you go on a date with someone and they start dumping their trama on the first date

@aFFi Definitely using some kind of auto-lining/shading with CGI. He's being really lazy with how he is incorporating CGI/pre-renders into his work. It's also overkill ironically, since the amount of pixel clutter in the background really detracts from the foreground. I find my eyes distracted by the background objects instead of first looking at the characters/objects in the foreground because it's so hard discern between the two at times.

It's a shame because a look in the past shows that the artist can actually do decent/okayish work, even if he's just tracing:

I don't get too hung up on this kind of thing myself. It looks fine and im more interested in the story than the art. As long as the art does not fail the story, i don't particularly care.

I don't even notice this kind of stuff myself. Just not important enough to look out for. I know when its good but if its not its usually not going to leave an impression.

Ah... yes.... *turns to waiter* Sir, can you fill that glass up to the top please? Thanks.
.... Now I’m ready for story time.

That is not how you start a date conversation. You save that for the end and hope she wants to heal your heart with her lady bits.
