That last panel probably should have said "This labyrinth, must be captured!" or maybe "This labyrinth, I will uncover its secrets!" or something. The Japanese is roughly "This labyrinth, I'll defeat you for sure". Destroy probably wasn't the right word to use, I don't think the MC is that retarded. My bad.

No, "destroy" is actually the right context. While the manga is diverging from the WN,

dungeons are destroyed when you remove the Dungeon Core. After it's removed the dungeon will stop spawning monsters and eventually collapse and disappear within a month or so. Also, the dungeons (and EACH LEVEL OF THEM) are different spacial dimensions. Adventurers tried digging down to lower levels but found out that whether from digging from one level down to the next or digging from the outside in isn't possible because the dungeon exists in its own space-time dimension and so doesn't each level. And defeating a dungeon and taking the Dungeon Core is a huge deal because it allows huge teams to go into and collect all the materials and magic stones there (which is why him mapping it accurately is so damn important - it means they can safely and quickly empty out the dungeon before it disappears). One of the biggest commodities is the transportation runes/stones (which the MC can't use, obviously, because he's magicless) that transport from the lower levels out or into the dungeon. They dig those up and use them as transportation teleportation stones, and they only exist in dungeons. They're so important that they are state controlled as strategic military assets and they merely allow civilians to use them for ridiculous huge fees (and it's useful because it's instant transport in a world with slow-as-fuck transport, food and spices are one of the biggest commodities due to the distance to import them and because they often go bad before they can be delivered).

The translation... seems weird? For example, Snake has "evil" inside? It's clearly written as "毒(poison)" in the raw. Also, "何とか(somehow)" becomes "whatever" ?
And then, "dungeon must be destroyed" thing that everybody's talking about is actually 討伐(subjugate) not 破壊(destruction).

@natural-log dumb question, but do translators and those who can read raws critique work as a way of helping people? I mean if you can read the raws why read t he english translated?
