well the dagger dont have any blood on it, but it can look that way....
the blood is commong only from her mouth as far as i can see so she could have bitten off her own tongue to kill yourself or someone poisoned her.
but yeah she is on the cover off the manga so i feel he is going to revive her with necromancy or something to make sure she 100% wont tell anyone he is human.

@Xennith Just because she looks like a human doesn't make her one. See MC's teacher for example, she's a demon even though she resembles a human, because she never had the need to hide her face in front of the demon lord.

Demon lord true identity is reincarnated Oda Nobunaga. MC didn't kill/injure her, she's one of the main heroine in this series. His human identity later will be revealed by accident when Demon Lord sudden home visit.
