With a commander like that it makes me wonder who the inhumane, and monstrous ones are. Seems to like the idea of charging no matter what the cost just to get things quickly done rather than consider tactics or alternatives. Reminds me of some of the things heard about Vietnam war were the popular method to take out machine gun nest was to have everybody charge and overwhelm it with numbers rather than preserve lives by taking a longer approach to come up with a way to deal with it with minimal causalities.
Guy with big spider demon is the hero right? Can't remember if came up before but does anyone know if he's a summoned hero, blessed/destined hero, or just a really talented and skilled fighter turned into a human weapon by a kingdom as war potential?

@SweatyBrie Guns should be coming up in upcoming chapters. Also, having trouble just making and improving the flintlocks without trying to make something bigger and more complicated. That and MC knows everyone not a reincarnator would have no idea about aerodynamics, adjusting for height, speed, distance and angle, and other issues.

General decision kinda weird champ considering they have plans to invade another city after taking this fort in fact using catapults to break the walls first before charging in would have been better there is a barrier but they do have mages to break it.
