Maou Gun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta

being called Genius because using "Gun" ?
woah so NEW so Refreshing so Innovative
whereeas he just copy paste it from his old world and the fantasy story with gun is already too much out there

Jesus christ. Please, dear isekai authors. Stop it with the darn crop field rotation bullshit. That shit was known 6000 years before christ. 8000 years ago. That is before the bronze age. And if those people could figure it out surely a medieval society could figure out goddamn crop rotation.

I've never understood why these Mangas stick to match locks I can't see producing modern guns as much harder or even at least bolt actions

The fact
the demon king is Oda Nobunaga
really added another point for me, a decent 7-8/10. the MC is calm and collected and the characters are pleasant.

@Pokeroots
Ok, and who will provide them the information to make modern guns?
The MC? How would he know the detailed information to make said guns?
How would he give the dwarf king a sample so that it can be replicated?
You actually have to think of stuff like that to fit the story. Otherwise it'll make the story suffer.
Matchlocks fit this story because of who the demon lord originally was.

So all in all, its not bad but not good either. It's very mediocre. I can imagine a lot of you will drop it out of boredom

Should genderbend be added, I mean famous figures in history got reincarnated as a girl =_=

@Pokeroots there is a fairly big technological jump between a modern gun and a matchlock but the primary reason would be manufacturing modern bullets.
Bullets are probably pressed metal, require high-quality controlled-burn gunpowder, and a specific sparking mechanism.
A matchlock is pretty much a hand cannon.
A modern gun is a mechanical machine where each "bullet" (cartridge technically) IS a cannon.
A flintlock would be a good upgrade though.

Gonna need to drop this unfortunately.
Theres no harem since the
Demon Queen is a male who reincarnated
and theres not even a speck of attraction or like towards the MC.
This is just another nation building isekai with old war tactics. Fighting is badly executed, feels clunky so does the art. The author can't draw fighting scenes at all.

Objectively better than Isekai Kenkokuki since the MC actually has a balanced playing field instead of cheat powers and literally having the majority of the ruling nobility supporting him.

Then again, this doesn't focus on the political nuances nearly as much. But it doesn't need to because the battle strategy involved is so much more intricate than that of the battles of antiquity depeicted in Isekai Kenkokuki, with siege warfare and cannons and whatnot.
