Maou ni Natta node, Dungeon Tsukutte Jingai Musume to Honobono suru - Vol. 1 Ch. 6.1

@GoblinGuy Don't forget the muscle and bone structure needed to move such wings. Could be interesting but most stories will stick to the mana kites we see here.

The idea that wing appreciation is what sparks interest between the two is clever. Points to the author.

The MC isn't too smart. But then again, nobody with a gambling addiction is. And especially nobody who died because of the addiction.

@Shamz The wings were more like all the necessary parts for a car to move, minus the engine, I guess? The Flight skill itself would be the engine to power all of those parts (then the mana as fuel, of course). The Dungeon Core didn't grant his demon body the Flight skill by default probably because it was pretty expensive and judged to be waste spendings? Apparently the skill itself is considered a Unique skill (in the same category as his Mana Eyes & Translation skills). It at least made the skill available for purchase from the catalogue however.
I'm more inclined to believe that Flight skill should've have been acquirable through training, cause demonkins tend have wings, and it'd be a disaster if they couldn't fly without a unique skill. I'm guessing MC's one is just wired differently.
