@floemizu natural as in it's normal to be mentally exhausted or normal that they take comfort in each other?
The former for sure, especially since she's a stressed out hormone raging teenager and the mc lost his wife only recently so has to struggle as a single workaholic father.
The latter is arguable. He's an adult and supposed to be more responsible and level headed. Nothing wrong with opening up himself to others, even if the other person is a minor. But to let himself fall into a romantic relationship with her and then let her convince him to 'run away' from it all is not acceptable as a father trying to patch things up with his daughter. If perhaps he was trying to help the girl get out of her miserable state and feel better than okay, but we all know that was not the case.
The girl isn't blameless but she is acting on impulse a lot of the times which is something a kid has the privilege of doing in society since the lawful repercussions aren't against her but against the adult.
Bottom line is they can be friends just fine and vent about their issues, especially since he has a daughter that can mediate and needs help herself. The romantic stuff is her hormones raging and mc thinking with his dick, so it isn't necessary for this situation.
