This feels a bit unnatural. Like how did we go from him thinking she drugged him on their wedding night to "ok let's get back together sweety"? Like I get he took a liking to the kid but there didn't seem to be enough scenes between the couple to explain the change of heart other than him realizing that she's been living independently and isn't some money grubber. I would also be wondering like her if he's up to something.
