Is the MC a little kid, covering his eyes when the circus dude was swallowing the sword? Locking himself up for days due to the death of a practical stranger already felt like a stretch under those circumstances (he's lived in the isekai for not a long time yet and serving the suspicious lord he ought to have plenty of more urgent worries), but he could be a highly sensitive person, so I'm willing to overlook it. But I'm not willing to overlook his otherwise too maidenly behavior.

@Kaarme Some people are maidenly. The only differences between men and women are ones of likelihood and propensity. You get more maidens in women generally but like any trait it exists to some degree in both. Its good to have different MC's rather than the bland common denominator we get most of the time.

@greyhud90 Yeah this does feel pretty Yaoi. Not a bad thing in my book, its actually interesting to see the styles mech and change in this way into something similar to others but just a little different.
