I sorta got what she was saying. She just doesn't want Nachi to have to deal with the problems coming from being with someone with a tail. Though she seemed to give up on that fairly quickly after what Nachi said who I assume is back?

Basically she has an idea on all the stuff Utsumi's family is going through including all the bullying and having to move constantly, and being unable to build lasting friendship and being isolated, and she sees the same thing for Nachi and by extension Nachi's kids if she stays with Utsumi. So all the heartaches in the first 14 chapters repeating with Nachi, again.

Last chapter she was running around in deely bobbers and underwear and they said she was in "just her panties" then too. Minor mistranslation, I think.

The only way the huge reaction to his tail gets makes sense is if it is an allegory for being trans. It just occurred to me as a possibility this chapter, and actually makes a lot of sense compared to it actually being that people are so incredibly shocked an disgusted that he has a very extremely minor deformity in unimportant location(not face/hands/etc).
