Why do you guys being so harsh to the author

To be honest seeing her being treated inhumane like this kinda turned me on

Is this going to be like "that manga" where it start nice about fluffy cleaning and turned into garbage dumpster fire?
... should i start prepare some popcorn??

I think the Author is forcing too much the reality into a fictional manga tbh. And I can see Chris starting to get depressed to the point of losing appetite.

@agtra I think you need to have your head checked, just my opinion tho, before you do something IRL that you might regret later.

I thought it was going to reach this point. Slice of life is one thing but realistic setting is another. There is very little fun about the real world. And the implementation in this series is...not great.

As others have said, yeah, it sucks, but it's also what the government has to do. Protection of the citizens comes first, and it's not as if similar cases aren't happening nowadays, like the unvaccinated French tourist that reintroduced measles in Costa Rica not so long ago. Or the Ebola panic. Quarantines exist and are still used for a reason.

I even understand why nobody has thought of providing her with a TV, or books, or manga, or any other source of entertainment. It's not as if your usual hospitalization is much more entertaining; from personal experience, I know that not every hospital has a TV in every room, and almost always it's up to patients and their families to bring their own entertainment. Chris is alone and doesn't know this world or its rules; if no one in the hospital realizes the problem, nothing will be done.

If her treatment gets worse, you'd think one of the personnel present would do something about it. Chris has been more than cooperative, so unless the workers are descendants of the Unit 731 workers, they would have their own doubts and thoughts. What are they going to do about the MC dude, anyway? He's a citizen with the rights of a citizen. If they go as far as make him disappear (which would be pretty strange in a story), the government folks would find themselves in equal trouble, I dare say even in Japan. If they just let the MC go, he will keep trying to get in contact with Chris. If denied, he just needs to talk to the media to cause the government the kind of headache the government isn't too fond of.

Do you know what manga changed the pace and base of the plot suddenly and get destroyed? Gal Cleaning.
Please author, don't do a Gal Cleaning on us.

Can we go back to fluff instead? I don't need realism in my isekai fiction. I don't know if I can endure another gal cleaning ride again.

Kinda ruined the mood of the manga, suddenly went from "happy romance" to "sad human experimentation"

I don't know what kind of moron you have to be to report this kind of thing to government 😅
