Reading this chapter, I suddenly realised Chris brought her sword with her. Where's the sword? It's actually illegal in Japan, under the draconian Japanese laws. I wouldn't anymore remember if the issue was ever addressed.

@Kaarme Considering that her sword is an actual item from another world, they might give it a pass for its value even just for researching whether materials and techniques differ very much. In a way it's a one of a kind item. Or, since it was made specifically for live combat use it might get destroyed immediately upon someone realizing it's there because the law does technically call for that and the protections for artistic value haven't ever been applied to any foreign swords AFAIK. Kind of a coin flip, since this is fiction and stupidly stubborn people might be more selective in their stupidity for a change.

@Glomoro I do wonder if the gov does know that Chris came with armor and her sword. I do remember her polishing her armor and sword. not sure if she has done it since she got back from the hospital
