@ColonelPabs254 In the anime it certainly was. I don't feel like looking back, but it doesn't seem all that familiar in manga form. The art is up to date, as well. The author likely wrote it as a part of the anime's production, which then had to be put in the manga.

@ColonelPabs254 the meeting where the otaku couple met is covered in the beginning, however the fleshing out of the before and after is only seen here.

Would explain why in the space of one chapter everyone was chummy and throwing anime and game show references while in the workspace!

The ironic thing is this is Episode 1 in the anime while its chapter 29 in the manga lol I only watched episode one so I have no idea what else is going on in that side of production
