Problem with notifications

Hello,

I have some difficulties understanding how the website works. I managed in the past to get a notification about the lastest update of the manga Fairy tail 100 quest by mail but for the life of me, I can't remember how I did that. It worked fine until a month ago. I no longer receive any updates. I don't know if it's a bug or a problem with my mail box.

To get a notification first you have to mark a manga as reading. To do that in the cover page of the manga where all the information is displayed you have to change the status from unfollow to reading. That can be done on the actions panel, where you can see three elements. The middle one lets you change this. Then you will get notifications of new chapters on the front page of mangadex. In this front page you can see two tabs, all and follows. The series that you are following will be displayed on the follow tab, and here you will see when a new chapter is out.

I did what you suggested. Will I be notified by mail as well or do I have to do something in particular to have that ?

By mail? No that I know.
I dont know if thats even an option. Maybe there is a way to show notifications of updates on your mail, but I havent looked for it. Mostly becuause I would hate the constant spam of updates on my mail for updated chapters.
