Ramia-Yana

just a heads up, this author is a racist, and as made many racist comments on discord servers

That was brutal!!! They got what they deserved! Glad to see there is some revenge for what they did to the girls.

Still can't judge still too early to judge, although from what i see it's an ok series

Great art, but other than that - what is even the point of pretending to be a mature manga if you are going to censor and plot-armor everything?

@dsid2814
does that change the manga being good? Most people are able to separate a work from an author. You bringing unrelated stuff up like that just seems like you are jealous/envious. also, post proof. not going to trust randoms on the internet regarding anything with zero proof.

@CuddleStruggle "censor" as in, more blood? more onscreen sex or naked bodies? Didn't really feel necessary to me to show more than what I did. Though I was considering doing an extra of the offscreen "session" between Ramia & Alexander.

as for plot armor, well, did you want all the girls to die? There will be plenty of lack of plot armor in the future if that's what you're worried about.

@dsid2814 Like?

@TGS, I mean like with Berserk - if it touches sexual stuff it does not skip it. And everything horrible in it shown in its full horrible glory, be it rape, torture, et.c.

why does this have a smut tag?

Did someone do that to hide this work? That's pretty mean to do. This is pretty good work so far.

So far, she seems to actually finish any matter throughoutly and see that the perpretator get punished so they won't be able to do crime again, instead of being happy-go-lucky and finished things half-baked just so it'll bite her back later. This probably come from her veteran experiences, which is awesome in a way. The artwork is unique too, but not out of place and is rather refreshing to see.
Loved this manga. Curious about her journey now.

@CuddleStruggle it doesn't need blood and guts to be a "mature" manga. Honestly, it is still gives off the vibe of grotesqueness without showing excessive blood and guts, which is pretty impressive. And the lack of it doesn't make this manga less better than if it fully depicted the gore.

@pingustrategist Mature is not necessarily better. It just explores things that manga for younger audience tries to avoid. And I don't think that blood and gore even makes a manga mature - I have seen plenty of it in shounen mangas, with the only difference is that it is less detailed.

@CuddleStruggle The R18 "adult" comedy movies that are shown in cinema and shows like robot chicken are examples of this. Yeah sure it might have a mature rating but we all know who their primary demographic is.

@dsid2814 Not surprised, you can tell immediately from the artwork. The "non-racist"™ western artists are busy getting work at marvel comics of course. 🤣

I showed up expecting something really raunchy with the smut tag and all, but ended up staying because there's a lot of interesting stuff going on and I want to see where TGS is going with this. Even if it's not quite what I was expecting, Ramia is definitely entertaining as a lead and has me hooked to see where her story goes from here, and the way TGS renders the destruction she can wreak puts me in the mind of Yusuke Murata's art. Some of the illustrations of the sheer havoc that arises in battles in One Punch-Man is kind of like when you watch a movie in one of those big theaters with the steep seats and wrap-around screens for the first time and you kind of get vertigo from a sense of scale and perspective you're not used to. It's pretty cool.
