Re:Monster - Vol. 7 Ch. 59

It says "newbie translator", but doubling up on speech bubbles was already an LHT tradition, is that just the person pasting in the bubbles messing up or what? Although I've never seen it like this where the A bubble is repeated after a B bubble so it goes "ABA" instead of "AAC" or even "ABC" as it's supposed to.

Anyway, I wanna see what's up with this swordswoman. If he doesn't eat her or bring her home then by the rules of this series, who even cares.

@raidanzoup
I'm not exactly sure who's fault it is down the scanlation chain (not translator's, probably, though), but it definitely is proofreader's blunder in not catching it.

Hmmm do I spy a new harem member.... she might even make the rank of waifu now that I think about it. Isekai authors do love lauding the "fantasy yamato nadeshiko" to the point of nausea.

I can forgive the spies having a distinct race, but a spy wearing a distinct outfit is very foolish lmao. Holy Kingdom Lumen is stupid.

@Xamdiz
Actually it is on par with a lot of religious and/or ethnic supremacy believing groups. They usually have an easily identifiable "uniform" so to speak.

Ex: the KKK wears all white hoods and stuff. The church commonly has/had a cross somewhere on their person at all times. While the robe may be a bit much, i doubt he expected to lose, which is why uniform attire may have been overlooked.

@JavelinJoe
I understand, my point is when sending a spy you usually don't want that spy to be easily identified as coming from your side even if you expect them to not lose. That's just basic stuff, you wear your uniforms anywhere except when you're doing something you're not supposed to (i.e. what a spy do).

Except if that guy isn't really a spy but an official inquisitor that the Holy Kingdom sent because they're planning to take credit of killing Rou later after declaring him an enemy of humanity or something.

@LunaDelrey
Oh, so there is a QC after all (missing in credits, so i though PR was the one doing final check).
BTW, you gotta be more generous with those slaps, if you ask me - this happens quite frequently.

This is like watching a version of Golden Princess Renner where she was actually care about her country

because chapters have to end at some point, and its better to end at a more memorable point than just "wherever the fuck, whatever the fuck they're doing".

makes it easier for the audience to retain the immediate plot, makes it easier for the author to find the starting point of the next chapter.

I have always thought that the princess is not stupid and naive, but she is suddenly more sinister than I thought.
