Though I think that the explanation given by the princess actually happened directly when it was brought up in the Web Novel instead of it being mentioned in the days covered by this manga chapter. I don't know if this change is a manga-only thing or if it was also in the Light Novel version. (The LN has more content and details than the WN.)
On the other hand, the night incursion to kill guards and nobles that was done by the Elite Goblins and the Ninja Kobolds during the days covered in this manga chapter was indeed in the Web Novel.
