I was wondering when it was going to address her previous life's family considering she was always thinking of them. Did she never look up and see where they were and not? I mean, we don't even know how much time has pasted since she died. And now she's, what, like 5? So even if she was reincarnated immediately after dying, he grandson could potentially already be 18. reincarnation doesn't work like that. When you died, you'll immediately reincarnated into another being as a baby, whether it's baby animal or human.

If you're talking about how it works in the manga, you shouldn't be able to know that since we haven't seen for sure how much time passed.
If you're talking about Buddhist teachings... then also no. The interim period between death and rebirth (and whether it even exists or how long it is) has been argued through Buddhism history for about as long as the concept has been around. Different Buddhist sects believe differently. Some think it's immediate, some think there's a "wait" period before it happens.
