@delaprd The pressure when you squeeze the pack interacts with the chemicals and air inside, thus making the whole thing heat up. Takes maybe about a minute or so to get to full heat. The ones I use go up to 40 degrees Celsius, though I have tried one before that seemed to go even higher than that. Even left a little burn mark and all.
