Roujoteki Shoujo Hinata-chan - Vol. 5 Ch. 35 - The Conviction-like Truth

@KhalE Sakuya seemed to want to let go of her past after her date with Sadao, so even if she'd written things down she probably wouldn't remember.

@mcruz I think the fireworks thing was with the firefly that took human form, not Hina & Sadao.

I appreciate that the author had Sakuya forget her past, but I really, really hate that her hair was cut. The big fluffy hair looked much better on her. I also liked her previous personality better.

@Beardy_foxbear Way I understand it the haircut is not about growth, it's preparing for change. Casting away your old life and getting ready to take on the future (including being fully prepared to die, if needed).

Anyway, this forgetfulness is a nice way to tie it closer to our world. "You don't hear much about reincarnators, because they forget it once their old lives are done with".

@Beardy_foxbear @Simpleton
I think it is more "character change" than "growth" too.
It is also not an "anime trope" as you also see that in movies and comics and even in mythology.
for some reason girls seen to see themselves as their external look so cutting the hair is a way to change who they are (?).

Noooooooo.... Developments like this suck. It better not happen with Hinata. I'd be really sad. He's kind of rough but he is still a good guy.

lol Even the official translations don’t redraw all the sound effects like you do
Props

:Notlikethis:

Aw hell did Miya get reincarnated as a cat again? Now as Miu's(?) kitten?

Honestly if she really forgot her past I woudo be glad for her.

She had such a painful and tragic death, I actually felt a chill when she describe it...

Forgetting that kind of thing is better...
