and i just realized its a reverse harem :/ too bad hope it wont be too much of a reverse harem and therell be one main couple with just mob characters
thats a shame tho i was about to give it 10 out of 10 but ill wait and see... hope the "true villainess" thingy will become a trend real soon i love this !!! im a bit tired of the good hearted villainesses i want the real thing

From my perspective, it's not like that. I think she resents her mother for her brother's death. They were born to become great members of the family, and that very thing is what got her brother killed. She can't embrace her mother for letting them be raised in such a horrible environment.

Given that she literally saw her brother's corpse like that, she knew that kindness in that household was a weakness. Even her act of saving the ML here is not even because it's for the right thing. It isn't for morality. It's simply because she knows that it's her way of surviving. She doesn't care if her twisted and sadistic family dies in a fire, so long as she's not in there with them.

What a Villainess, I'm gushing over her coolness! Either she doesn't care about whatever happens to the mother or she's putting a distance between them for safety, was a really powerful scene, the artist is doing a great job with the visual clues and metaphors.

The eyes are mesmerizing. I can't stop staring at their different pupils (And Roxanne's occasional butterflies).
The mother is interesting: she is so perfectly accepting of the family situation while seeming so otherwise normal and sane that it's kind of chilling. I'm not sure I understand the point of putting Kassis in that kind of restraint though. Unless the implication is that Roxanne is somehow responsible for it? (although I don't see how).

Would be weirder if she did have those moments, this story didn't have the usual fainting villainous remembers her past life shenanigans, she was raised in this family (and since failure means a painful death she's taken the lessons seriously)
