Saika no Kami wa Negawanai - Ch. 2

Whoa, if he knows his sister-wife gonna be killed, doesn't he wanna save her? That's just sad. :c

@Shirokamisama That is sad..... 😧
But.......... he called her stupid, so maybe she's not worth saving/ too far down the wrong path to help her turn herself around. Cuz if you look at it, no matter how much he hates that his brother is king, he was completely devastated when his bro got hurt and died. And his bro seems carefree and childish, but he's not incompetent. So I really wonder whats up with the sis-wife. Is she "ditsy" stupid, or "made bad schemes" stupid?

SN: Isis rubs me the wrong way... She could just have a bad case of RBF and can't help it, but I don't like how her expression is so empty. ATM, I don't trust her.

@daichinobakudan It's the artist's style, appeals to female readers. This manga runs in shojo/josei magazine Comic Zero Sum.

Wait, but if he knows that she'll get murdered/assassinated, then shouldn't Set & Thoth do something to prevent it? 🤔🤔🤔🍿

I wonder if he is shocked because the girl will die or shocked because “how did you know my plans!”

@QueenKumQuat I wouldn't trust Isis given what she did in actual mythology to ensure Osiris got the throne by forcing Ra to give her his true name and put him in retirement. She's tricky that one. Probably would do anything to make sure the throne ended up with her son

I forgot Egyptian royalty married their siblings. I also forgot how messed up they were with all the inbreeding.

since the first chapter, the attempt to give sympathy towards mc is kinda funny, esp the fact that his brother honestly doesnt actually give any damn about the slaves, for what, the willing to forgive family for ridiculousness idea, or something, i forget how to word it, sorry.

btw, like, every1 in every single mythology is horrible, welcome to myths, please don't just focus on one char and be like, oh look they did x so they the bad, um- like they all did all the bad so they are all bad.
while usually it is almost always a bad idea to displace a monarch without proper prep, imo they both needed to go, and loyalty does not exempt, or justify horribleness. or w/e i suppose im highly tired of so many that just take mc's side b c mc, or do people just emphasize better with dislikable chars?
regardless going by the only 2 people involved in ch1, the mm is prob either the king or some cousin cuz, reincorp or sherlock bs

Wouldn't this just give them a chance to blame him for the murder of his younger sister?
