Saika no Kami wa Negawanai - Ch. 4

What did Thoth expect? It is going to be quite some time before Set has any interest in her, and she will constantly be bouncing back and fourth between crush built on lack of understanding, and then anger when that leads to inevitable disappointment.

Well, they found A culprit pretty fast, but what were they implying at the end? That his brother killed himself to frame his brother?

Damnnn his bro is so manipulative but i dont think he's the culprit. He just wants Set to be used only by him and only him.
Should Set be someone lovable, Set could lead a rebellion or sort because of him exhibiting good characteristics of a man or leader.

@OsoJr I think the implication is that Osiris is manipulating Set's loyalty to him alone. It's also why Set's confused between Thoth's assertions that Set has to make himself more likeable to avoid his bad end, and Osiris asserting that Set doesn't have to change who he is.

Heyoooo double update! Thank you very much! Now i'm just going to googe the guy that floats in the previous chapter 😂

@zz2000 That's kind of the point no? Ra stated how Set will be the sword of Osiris, so his servitude is heritage. I mean, they did maybe imply something when Osiris told Set that he doesn't need to change, but wouldn't those words just be said because he knows how much the people dislike Set, and that Osiris is the only one that truly loves and accepts Set? I don't know, there's a lot of vague details, so we're probably better off waiting. It might just be as simple as Apophis being the culprit, but I also suspect Isis a little. Though historically, Set does kill Osiris, but Horus is born AFTER Osiris is killed and put back together.

LOL THoth you bastarddd xDDD That was a great troll strat tho of course. And "In order to change the future you have to change yourself first" is pretty on point.

The storytelling is pretty good in this manga. I like how we gets bits and pieces of information about the characters and the past throughout the story itself. It would be so boring if things were always just retold from Set's POV.

On the bright side, now that Set and Isis are on good terms, she won't be as mistrusting of him. But man, when she blamed him for Neph's death that was abit harsh. I mean, like.. it wasn't exactly his fault at the time... Even though Set's really arrogant and needs to chill, as a reader I really can't hate him.

Well sure neth is lacking in common sense, but thats may be part of her upbringing

o b prob was being a creepy yandere for set in beginning, but then got betrayed cuz he dumb lol
