I want moar! I didn't see this coming. I thought there will be a snap from Osiris side, but not this soon. And the last sentence...! Now I really-really want to read the next chapter!
I'm guessing the father killed blue haired guy in their past life and framed it on red haired guy because he blamed red haired guy for changing his son and wanted revenge.
so my guess is that Orsis likes Set the way he is because he is easy to manipulate and his attitude makes him unpopular if Set changes into a dependable person other people will take notice and might try to put Set on the throne, for some people really don't like this era of peace.
@Reademup I sorta agree too. I think Osiris also likes Set because he understands him and maybe feels a bit special for being one of the few if only one that can ‘tame’ Set.
With Set improving himself Osiris feels like the Set he knows is disappearing, which could ultimately lead to his downfall. Since Osiris was mainly chosen to rule since Set’s personality wouldn’t suit ruling, once Set was deemed a better man, not to mention his contributions to the war, the people will naturally support the stronger one out of the two.
Osiris could be paranoid of him being overthrown by Set since once again, Set’s developing into someone Osiris isn’t familiar with.
Any bets on Thoth being blackmailed or tricked by Apophis to turn Set into a new body for him, so he can be with Osiris forever? The whole "the only way to beat Apophis is to basically store his essence into your body" is fishy as hell.
What.. so the time machine magic was from Osiris afterall? It seemed too obvious to think it was him, but I guess it's a twist if there's no twist lol.
Thoth has been fishy from the start but now there's more reason to suspect him. Even if Thoth had a point about being suspicious about Set in the last timeline, normally you'd still be cautious around him until proven otherwise. Only Set would believe that guy unconditionally. He ain't the brightest guy around... but then again, there's not much he can do when he can't trust anyone but his brother. Which also begs the question: why didn't he just tell Osiris the truth? I can understand it's hard psychologically but was trusting Thoth unconditionally really the best thing he could do? Now that I've said that, I just realized that Thoth is lowkey emotionally manipulating Set as well. Yikes. And that's why we all feel so bad for Set.
