The point being that what someone is to the world is not the same as what they are to those close to them. This is the other side of that.

Decide on whether you want a character to be a greedy pig or not, now his reasoning for stealing them in the first place doesn't make sense anymore.

Death penalty for stealing was a bit harsh, but I probably wouldn't make him out as a good guy now just because he got a backstory.

Yeah, this whole Rampage arc has been kind of a bust for me. It didn't really amount to much of anything in the end. Poorly conceived, unmemorably executed. Oh well.

@panzerkampfwagyu I wouldn't say so. He's not a good person. He's just not evil either. As long as it's nothing personal, he's perfectly ready to steal from and exploit others, but he also has enough honour to recognise it when he owes his life to someone. Nevertheless, since he did get caught, he loses nothing by trying to be friendly with Uchimura. What comes to Uchimura, I'd say he has remarkable tolerance to simply forgive Butayarou when he sees an opportunity to use the pig man's trade network as a means to expand sales easily. That's some remarkable businessman's mentality.

Having a family who love you doesn't make you a good person.
Using your family to steal protective equipment from farmers to stop them dying horribly and to stop the farmers family starving?
That's still evil.

There's criminals in this world who steal the copper wiring out of the ground for streetlights in the countryside so they can sell it. It makes driving on the winding roads dark and more dangerous than it needs to be until it's repaired. Do you think someone who has had a family member who died on those dark roads would think he's not evil?
