RE the MC jumping: I think that the jumping attack might actually be an unconcious thing on his (or should it be her?) part, because he seemed utterly surprised when he did it the first time around. Something tells me that it's kind of reflexive at the moment; perhaps he inherited the muscle memory of the girl that used to own that body (if there's no stable time loop, then I'm fairly certain she's **not** a reincarnator, or else the entire group is pretending to not know her because they somehow knew it wasn't her in that body).

@Lee-Nyan All 3 games feature it, but it is most prominent in 1 and 3. In DS1 you go back in time in the DLC (Abys part of Prepare to Die Edition), plus some other time I cant remember. DS2 has you doing the Giant memories, plus traveling back to Vendrick past. Then for DS3 the subtitle could "Time fuckery", all zones are from VERY different time periods, sometimes going to future then past version in the game, connected by temporal anomalies.
The flow of time in Lordran is convoluted.
